Curriculum Vitae

Benjamin Waschilewski graduated in 2022 with a degree in mechanical engineering, majoring in aerospace engineering, from TU Dresden. During his studies, he contributed to the development of the SOMP2b satellite project at TU Dresden.

What is your research interest?

Everything regarding sensors and electrical engineering.

What motivated you to do what you do today?

When I started learning C and Python for the satellite project, I discovered that I really enjoy programming.

What do you find particularly interesting about CeTI?

The role of advanced sensor technologies in enabling real-time human-machine interaction. High-precision, low-latency sensors sensors are essential.

To which question have you not found an answer lately?

To this day, I still don’t understand why Windows always crashes at the most inconvenient moments.

How do you spend your free time?

I enjoy playing the piano, doing sports, and I have a strong interest in cars as well as in space-related topics and astrophysics.
