He is currently a PhD researcher at the Chair of Acoustics and Haptics at TU Dresden within the CeTI project, focusing on the design and development of haptic interfaces and soft actuators. Previously, he worked at Fraunhofer IMWS, supporting hybrid foam injection molding processes and conducting finite element simulations. His master\u2019s thesis combined numerical simulation with experimental validation of natural<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2011<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">fiber<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2011<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">reinforced thermoplastic composites. He also completed an internship in production engineering, contributing to equipment commissioning and process optimization. Gangadhar holds an M.Sc. in Polymer Materials Science from Martin Luther University Halle<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2011<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Wittenberg and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Vasavi Engineering College. His technical skills span MATLAB, Moldex3D, ANSYS, CAD tools, and material characterization techniques. My work focuses on how materials, mechanics, and electronics can be combined to produce precise and expressive tactile feedback.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span lang=\"EN-IN\">What inspired you to pursue your current field of work?<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>I was inspired by the intersection of materials science and human\u2013machine interaction, especially the idea that engineered materials can enable new forms of communication, assistance, and embodiment in robotics and wearable devices.<\/p>\n<h4><b><span lang=\"EN-IN\">What excites you most about being part of CeTI?<\/span><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>CeTI\u2019s interdisciplinary environment is incredibly motivating. Working alongside experts from robotics, materials, computer science, and design creates a unique space where innovative ideas can quickly evolve into real prototypes and impactful research.<\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Which challenge or question has recently sparked your curiosity?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-IN\">I am currently fascinated by how soft actuators can deliver highly localized, high<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2011<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">resolution tactile cues while remaining lightweight and energy<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u2011<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">efficient. Understanding this balance between performance and practicality continues to spark my curiosity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-IN\">How do you like to recharge or spend your time outside of work?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">I play cricket and am part of a local club, Rugby Cricket Dresden.
