SUMMARY:“genialsozial - Your work against poverty” awareness day
DESCRIPTION:Under the patronage of Saxony’s Minister President Michael Kretschmer\, this is now being initiated for the 21st time by the Saxon Youth Foundation. Companies\, associations and other institutions can act as employers for Saxony’s schoolchildren on this day. \nYoung people aged 14 and over can be employed for up to 8 hours on this day and are covered by accident and liability insurance through the school during the activity. The money earned is donated by TU Dresden from central budget funds directly to “genialsozial – your work against poverty” and thus supports social projects locally in Saxony and worldwide. \nCeTI is involved in the day of action as a structural unit of TU Dresden and provides support.

DESCRIPTION:July 27\, 2025: Second father-son workshop on robotics at CeTI. \nCeTI invites father-son pairs to a workshop on robotics: All children (girls and boys) between the ages of 8 and 14 are invited to visit the CeTI RoboLab at TU Dresden together with their fathers\, uncles\, grandparents or other male family members. Real robotic arms will be programmed and other robots (e.g. Spot and Ameca) will be shown. \nThe course can accommodate a total of 8 father-child pairs. No prior knowledge is necessary. DESCRIPTION:During our holiday program at CeTI\, students are spending an exciting week full of technology\, creativity\, and teamwork. \nAfter getting to know each other and exploring CeTI’s robotics demos\, they are working hands-on in the Robolab. Throughout the week\, they are deepening their skills\, tackling new challenges\, and developing their own solutions. A special highlight is the CeTI-BAR\, where everyone enjoys homemade cinnamon rolls together. The program concludes with a Lego module and programming session\, followed by presentations of their projects to parents in the afternoon.
