SUMMARY:Holiday Robotics Program
DESCRIPTION:During our holiday program at CeTI\, students are spending an exciting week full of technology\, creativity\, and teamwork. \nAfter getting to know each other and exploring CeTI’s robotics demos\, they are working hands-on in the Robolab. Throughout the week\, they are deepening their skills\, tackling new challenges\, and developing their own solutions. A special highlight is the CeTI-BAR\, where everyone enjoys homemade cinnamon rolls together. The program concludes with a Lego module and programming session\, followed by presentations of their projects to parents in the afternoon.

All children between the ages of 8 and 14\, whether girls or boys\, are warmly invited to dive into the world of robotics together with a parent\, family member\, or another guardian. \nWhat can you expect? In our workshop\, you can program real robotic arms together\, interact with the famous robot dog Spot and the humanoid robot Ameca\, and discover just how much fun technology can be! Through play and creativity\, you’ll learn how humans and machines work together—teamwork is key! \nAnd what else? SUMMARY:Science Night Dresden 2026
DESCRIPTION:Science Night is taking place once again – for the 23rd time – and CeTI will be there once more\, together with the partner projects of the Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks. We will present our latest demonstrators and provide insights into our research in an interactive and exciting setting. \nMany program highlights are planned: \n\nJoin us on the lawn behind the HSZ starting at 6:45 p.m. Our Junior Research Group Leader\, Pit Hofmann\, will introduce CeTI on stage. Then\, young and old alike can hit the dance floor at the “Disco with Robot Dogs.”\nStarting at 5:00 p.m. in the HSZ lawn pavilion\, you can watch our Juggling Demonstration and try it out for yourself!\nCeTIBAR will open at 5 p.m. Come watch robot arms prepare cocktails live.\nIn collaboration with CeTI\, the NCT developed a demo offering a glimpse into “The operating room of the future.” Visitors can test their skills with a dexterity task designed for surgical training.\n\nIn addition\, there will be a raffle with great prizes\, tasty popcorn\, and a tour of the newly opened Holodeck. We look forward to seeing all of our visitors!
