DESCRIPTION:GWT Open House – New TU Dresden Cluster of Excellence CeTI – Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop \nInteraktion von Mensch und Maschine in Echtzeit – Neues Exzellenzcluster „Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop“ (CeTI) der TU Dresden \nDigitalization is constantly progressing and the networking of devices and processes is continuing to increase. In the CeTI Cluster of Excellence\, scientists from TU Dresden are playing a key role how our everyday lives are shaped by robot support and what the interaction between human and machine can look like. Prof. Frank Fitzek\, speaker of the CeTI Excellence Cluster\, gave an insight into how this cooperation will be raised to a new level in the future at the Open House in the World Trade Center Dresden and presented the new cluster of excellence of the TU Dresden CeTI – Centre for Tactile internet with Human-in-the-Loop. \nIn a second lecture Beate-Victoria Ermisch presented the GWT-TUD and its special transfer services for scientists as well as for topics of industrial contract research. Besides the technical voices\, the Open House offered the opportunity to get to know the projects and services in a relaxed atmosphere and to exchange ideas with project managers. \n

DESCRIPTION:BeWISE 2018 at TU Dresden \nTU Dresden organised a conference which was addressed to female young scientists and junior research group leaders of selected DFG coordinated programmes at the TU Dresden. The patroness of the event was Dr. Eva-Maria Stange\, State Ministry of Science and Arts. Besides the welcome by the Vice-Rector for University Development of TU Dresden\, Prof. Dr. Antonio M. Hurtado\, a keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Brigitte Voit\, Managing Director/Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)\, Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung e. V. Dresden took place. The three-day conference offered numerous workshops (parallel workshops in English) and coaching opportunities. \nDuring the fireplace talks with experienced female professors (role-models)\, the participants were able to get into a conversation with them on pathways in research. Moreover\, this conference is especially suited to establish networks among researchers. \n \n
