CeTI at NightVon wegen Wissenschaft im Elfenbeinturm: hier geht es richtig zur Sache! 17 Meter lang, 35 Tonnen schwer – ein Truck für die Wissenschaft. Die Mitarbeiter des Exzellenzclusters CeTI laden in den Truck ein, um der breiten Öffentlichkeit ihre Wissenschaft nahe zu bringen. Für viele ist das Taktile Internet lediglich ein Begriff für ein abstraktes Thema. Im Truck kann man an ganz einfachen Beispielen ausprobieren, was es damit wirklich auf sich hat.

Wie gelingt es, Roboter dazu zu bewegen, dass sie den eigenen Bewegungen folgen? Wie kann man mit ihnen gemeinsam Bauklötze stapeln? Wie kann man den Unterschied zwischen 4G und 5G sichtbar machen? Jede Menge interaktive Anwendungsbeispiele lassen Alt und Jung eintauchen in Anwendungsfälle aus Medizin, Industrie und dem Internet der Fähigkeiten.

Im Rahmen der Langen Nacht der Wissenschaften ist der Truck am 14. Juni auf der Mommsenstraße zwischen Alter Mensa und Helmholtzstraße von 18:00 bis 24:00 Uhr geöffnet. Auf dem Postplatz wird der Truck am 17. Juni von 12:00 bis 18:00 Uhr und am 18. Juni von 10:00 bis 15:00 Uhr stehen. Am 19. und 20. Juni ist er darüber hinaus jeweils von 10:00 bis 18:00 Uhr auf dem Parkplatz der Informatik vor dem Heidebroek-Bau zu besuchen.

Hinweis für Journalisten: Der Truck wird am Abend des 12. Juni voraussichtlich zwischen 18:00 und 20:00 Uhr in der Mommsenstraße aufgestellt, am 13. Juni ab 07:00 Uhr werden die Einbauten für die wissenschaftlichen Experiment realisiert.

CeTI Truck Tour

The CeTI truck of the Excellence Cluster of the TU Dresden showed the public robots, use cases and technologies of the Tactile Internet. For many, Tactile Internet is just a term for an abstract topic. In the truck you could try out very simple examples to see what it’s really about. The truck took part in the Dresden Night of Science, opened its doors at the Postplatz in Dresden and took part at the Festive Day of Computer Science Education. The feedback we received on this CeTI truck was overwhelming. We had more than 3500 guests, where the people really interacted with all these robots and we are proud that the CeTI truck was received in a very well manner.

Das Excellenzcluster CeTI der TU Dresden lädt am 25. Mai 2019 von 9.30 bis 15.00 Uhr Studieninteressierte, Eltern und Lehrer, Studierende und Absolventen zu einem Besuch ins Hörsaalzentrum, Bergstraße 64, 01069 Dresden ein. Dabei kann man das Internet der Zukunft kennen und erleben lernen – mit intelligenten Handschuhen, die einem Klavierspielen lernen, steuerbaren Roboterhänden und weitere Demonstratoren, wie Menschen und Maschinen in Echtzeit interagieren können.

Girl`s Day 2019

Der Tag bei uns wird spannend: Zuerst schlägt bei Experimenten in der Hochspannungshalle der Blitz ein. Anschließend erfahrt Ihr, wie Maschinen das Lernen erlernen. Wir zeigen Euch, wie Maschinen verschiedene Münzen nur anhand des Klanges, den sie beim Runterfallen machen, unterscheiden können. Und zum Abschluss lernt Ihr das Internet der Zukunft kennen und erlebt, wie intelligente Handschuhe die Klavierschüler beim Lernen unterstützen können.

Unser 3. Programmteil wird auf Englisch durchgeführt.

Unser Angebot richtet sich an Schülerinnen der 9. bis 12. Klasse.

Das Programm bieten die Fakultät Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik der TU Dresden , sowie das Centre for Tactile Internet with Humans-in-the-Loop (CeTI) https://www.ceti.one an.
