The PipetBot: Automating Repetitive Laboratory Pipetting demonstrator showcases how robotics and intelligent path creation can streamline laboratory tasks, enabling researchers to focus on more complex challenges. The PipetBot integrates the UR5e robotic arm with a user-friendly web-based application powered by Wandelbots NOVA. Through written or voice commands, users can instruct the robot to perform precise pipetting tasks, while NOVA automates path planning and programming. The system also offers full control of hardware components such as pipettes, cameras, and robotic arms via a browser interface. Designed to be accessible even to users with limited robotics expertise, this solution reduces manual effort, boosts efficiency, and fosters more productive research environments.
