The Summer University enables students who are interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to get to know student life at TU Dresden for one week. In this way, perspectives can be shown so that ideas for the future can develop. In addition, the participants are supported in their choice of studies and their desired choice of study is strengthened.
During the Summer University, prospective students gain insights into institutes, research facilities and laboratories and can become active themselves. In discussions with scientists, they learn more about their current research and the university’s STEM degree programs. They gain insights into their studies, research and careers, experiment for themselves and talk to scientists and students.
