The first rehearsal for the ROBOTERSINFONIE in cooperation with the Dresdner Sinfoniker and HELLERAU — Europäisches Zentrum der Künste took place today.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary on October 12 and 13, the Dresdner Sinfoniker will be led by both a human and a robotic conductor. Conductor Michael Helmrath shares the conductor’s podium with an collaborative robot. In collaboration with the CeTI Cluster of Excellence, the robot learns how to beat bars and display dynamics. This ground breaking project explores the potential of human-robot collaboration in music.

We are looking forward to the upcoming rehearsals and further votes. Many thanks to all participants!

Tickets can be purchased at www.hellerau.org/de/event/roboter-sinfonie/
