Xuerui Peng

Xuerui completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Master’s Degree in Psychology from China. She has been working on her PhD in the chair of Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience at the TU Dresden since October 2020. And since June of 2021, Xuerui joins CeTI as an associate member with a 25% position.

I am currently collaborating on a project investigating adult age differences in the temporal dynamics of perceiving action categories (e.g., communicative vs. non-communitive actions) and action planning.

What do you value most about your work at CeTI?

The outcome from basic research about perception and decision making have the possibility to be used in the applied field.

What was your best moment at CeTI so far?

I’m mainly designing my experiment at the moment. As an associate member with a 25% position joining in June 2021, also due to the current COVID situation, I haven’t had the chance to join the CeTI event so far. Hope I can participate more in the future.

I like to play piano, go classical concerts and play with my cat.
