Was hält die Musik von morgen für uns bereit? Künstliche Intelligenz, augmentierte Realität, Internet der Fähigkeiten oder taktiles Internet - welchen Einfluss haben sie auf die Welt der Musik? Werden neue Stücke ausschließlich von Computern komponiert werden? Werden Musiker durch Roboter und Maschinen ersetzt werden? Oder werden Mensch und Maschine vom gegenseitigen Lernen profitieren? Auf diese und andere Fragen sind Prof. Frank Fitzek, Prof. Shu-Chen Li und Prof. Susanne Narciss (TUD) gemeinsam mit den Musikern Prof. Karl-Heinz Simon und Mirjam Hinrichs von der Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden at the concert “Sound & Science” on June 3, 2021.

“Sound & Science” is the joint event series of the den Dresdner Musikfestspiele (DMF) and the TUD. As one of the most important European festivals, the Dresdner Musikfestspiele combines tradition and modernity and presents a top-class program of extraordinary density and diversity every year in May and June. In the dialogue between the important and formative voices of the international classical music scene and the unique cultural and historical environment with around 25 festival venues, including the Frauenkirche, Semperoper, Kreuzkirche and the Kulturpalast, Dresden becomes a vibrant festival city.
