Welcome to CeTI’s Elevator Pitch, an immersive project designed to demystify the world of the tactile internet.
CeTI’s central vision is to enable humans to interact in quasi real-time with cyber-physical systems (CPS) in the real or virtual world over intelligent wide-area communication networks.
In this sixth Elevator Pitch, you will meet Prof. Ercan Altinsoy and dive into the world of haptic senses in our daily lives. He is developing a next generation of haptic and audio technologies. Together with his resarch partners, he is pursuing the goal of expanding the tactile internet to include the sense of touch, using actuators and sensors with low-latency, low-weight and low-costs for an immersive user experience.
