A workshop was recently held at ConTaktLab, an educational opportunity for team members to discuss the latest innovations in the field of neuroimaging.

The meeting was led by CeTI researcher Irene Valori, who delved into the use of neuroimaging, with a focus on integration with virtual reality (VR) technologies. The main objective of the workshop was to provide new team members with an overview of the use of advanced tools to study brain responses related to new modes of remote haptic interaction.

During the event, participants explored how the combination of neuroimaging and VR can contribute to the understanding of brain responses to new technology-mediated ‘social touch’ experiences. This innovative approach paves the way for promising research in the field of human-machine interaction and remote sensory communication.
