CeTI participates in the international time capsule of a French school project

An extraordinary school project connects young people, language and technology across national borders – and CeTI is part of it. Pupils from the Jean XXIII secondary school in Montigny-lès-Metz (France) have launched an ambitious project as part of their German lessons: a global time capsule that documents the zeitgeist of the 2024/25 school year and looks ahead to the year 2050.

The special feature: All contributions – from schools, personalities and institutions worldwide – are written in German to emphasize the role of the German language as a unifying cultural element.

CeTI was contacted directly by the students – inspired by our joint project with the Dresden Symphony Orchestra, in which a robot conducted an orchestra. This interplay between artificial intelligence and art was intensively discussed, translated and debated in class.

The capsule is to be opened in 2050 – an exciting glimpse into the future, with CeTI as part of a global voice.
