Children’s University with Stefanie Speidel at TU Dresden

Prof. Stefanie Speidel speaks at the Children’s University on the topic of surgery of the future: “High-tech instead of band-aids – What will the operating room of the future look like?”
In her lecture, she shows children how surgical robots work and how AI can be used to teach them to perform certain tasks independently. She also explains how these systems can think for themselves during an operation, provide important information, and even identify risks at an early stage.
