Experiencing Technology Together

As part of CeTI’s ongoing parent-child workshop series, we hosted a special premiere this Sunday: the first-ever Father-Child Workshop in our Cluster of Excellence!

In the CeTI Robolab, participants were invited to use a robotic arm to draw the “House of Nikolaus” and build a Jenga tower together – combining precision, collaboration and fun. The robotics demonstrations by Spot and Ameca were clear highlights of the day, followed by a relaxed get-together over fresh pizza in the CeTIBAR.

Eight fathers, eight children and one grandfather enthusiastically participated. The workshop was organized by Marcus Kotte and expertly led by Randy Gelfert and Sebastian Hesse, and the overwhelmingly positive feedback proves that technology is best experienced together – hands-on, playful, and with the family.
