Curriculum Vitae
After I wrote my bachelor‘s and master’s thesis about different topics in the realm of Mixed Reality, I decided I would like to pursue this path further. I wanted to use my obtained skills to further advance the research by exploring novel approaches to utilizing Mixed Reality. This desire led to me working on the project “Effective Remote Expert Consultation for Robot-assisted Surgery,” where I want to employ techniques of Mixed Reality to support surgeons during robot-assisted surgeries by allowing remote experts to give feedback and expert opinions directly in the situation.
Projects/Cooperation within CeTI you are already involved in:
Effective Remote Expert Consultation for Robot-assisted Surgery
What is your research interest?
- Mixed Reality
- Remote feedback approaches
- Environment recognition and utilisation
What motivated you to do what you do today?
I liked Science Fiction since my early days and through my studies i am able to get one step closer to transform Science Fiction into Science Reality.
What do you find particularly interesting about CeTI?
Interdisciplinarity has always contributed to significant scientific findings and allows individuals to think outside their box to achieve more than they might have been able to otherwise. Therefore, the interdisciplinary approach of CeTI is of high interest to me.
How do you spend your free time?
I play with my dog, listen to music and get lost in rabbit holes about interesting yet unimportant facts.
