Last week, Technische Universität Dresden welcomed a group of passionate young minds to explore the future of human-machine interaction at the annual MINT-EC camp. This four-day event, organized by TU Dresden’s school contact point and the Center for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop (CeTI), drew students from schools in the national MINT-EC excellence network and other TU Dresden partner schools. The camp was also supported by key collaborators, including ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig, the Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS), and the innovative TU Dresden alumni start-up SpeechMind.

Throughout the camp, students dove into workshops and hands-on activities that allowed them to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and its applications in real-world scenarios. PhD candidate Johannes Busch, a researcher at CeTI, led an introductory workshop on artificial intelligence and machine learning, giving participants a hands-on experience with foundational AI concepts.
