Mother-daughter workshop on robotics at CeTI

To mark the annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science, CeTI hosted another mother-daughter workshop on robotics on February 16, 2025. Schoolgirls aged 8 to 14 were on site at the RoboLab and discovered the exciting world of robotics together with their mothers.

A total of 8 mother-daughter pairs took part in the course. After an initial introduction to the technology, the pairs programmed smaller applications for a robotic arm.

After this year’s workshop, we are once again particularly pleased with the warm feedback from the participants:

“… this is how you get kids (and moms) excited about robotics!”

“It was a great Sunday and I can definitely recommend it to others! Many thanks to the inspiring, funny and special insights into CETI’s RoboLab”

We would like to thank all participants for their interest and commitment and are already looking forward to next time!

Information: In addition, a father-child workshop is also being planned for this year, which will give fathers, uncles and grandfathers an insight into the world of robotics together with their children.
