As part of the Robotics Institute Germany (RIG) research project, which is an association of leading robotics laboratories and research institutions in Germany, the integration of robotics into school lessons is to be given greater focus. The RIG is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and aims to increase the international visibility of German robotics, attract talent and accelerate progress in AI-supported robotics.

With the help of a survey aimed specifically at teachers, this goal is to be approached as a first step. It should help to understand the extent to which the integration of robotics into school lessons is desired and to find out what practical teaching materials are needed for this.

Robotics is one of the most promising and dynamic fields of our time. Not only is it penetrating numerous industries and fields of work, but it is also increasingly becoming an important part of our daily lives. In view of the rapid technological progress and the growing importance of robotics in the economy and society, it is essential that this topic is anchored in our schools at an early stage.

Participation in the survey only takes 10 minutes and is of great importance in actively shaping the future educational landscape. Let’s work together to harness the potential of robotics and give students the tools they need to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
