TP5 Room

Tactile Computing

TP5 will develop secure tactile computing infrastructures supported by adaptive, architecture-dependent resource provisioning. This will include self-explanation through state introspection and intuitive robot training to facilitate natural human-machine interaction.

The Aim

Our aim is to develop secure, adaptive, and self-explaining computing infrastructures, as well as intuitive robot programming techniques.

The Innovation

CeTI is at the forefront of creating advanced computing infrastructures that are not only secure and adaptive but also self-explaining. Our research focuses on designing secure tactile computing platforms for critical and highly sensitive applications. Additionally, we are developing intuitive methods for understanding automated decisions and natural, model-driven robot programming through demonstration.

The Expertise

The CeTI team combines expertise from various fields to address the challenges of secure and intuitive computing. Our cybersecurity specialists design robust infrastructures that ensure data protection and system integrity. Experts in artificial intelligence and machine learning work on creating adaptive systems that can explain their decisions in an understandable manner. Robotics engineers develop natural, model-driven programming techniques that allow robots to be programmed through demonstration, making them more accessible and easier to use.

The expected Result

CeTI objectives to transform the landscape of computing and robotics by providing secure, adaptive, and self-explaining platforms. Our innovative solutions will lead to the development of tactile computing platforms suitable for critical applications, enhancing security and reliability. We also aim to improve the understanding of automated decisions and make robot programming more intuitive and natural. These advancements will benefit sectors such as healthcare, defense, and manufacturing, contributing to a future where technology is more secure, transparent, and user-friendly
