Our researcher Andrés Villamil has joined our ‘ReachOut‘ exchange program.

This program aims to introduce CeTI employees to other research institutes, universities, and companies working in areas relevant to CeTI.

Dear Andrés, can you tell us about your experience?

It has been an interesting experience working with another team. While the research topic is similar, our approaches and goals are different. This has provided me with new insights and possibilities for my research and opened collaboration opportunities. Regarding my personal growth, I have also enjoyed exploring Stockholm and its surroundings during my free time, from visiting museums and historical landmarks to trying traditional Swedish cuisine and experiencing the multicultural offer in Stockholm.

Why would you recommend this exchange program?

I highly recommend this exchange program to anyone interested in expanding their research horizons and experiencing a new culture. One of the program’s most significant benefits is working with other research teams and learning from their diverse perspectives and approaches.

In addition to the academic benefits, the exchange program is also an opportunity to experience daily life in another city and a different culture. From trying new foods to exploring a new city, I have enjoyed getting to know Stockholm and the team.

The exchange program is an incredible opportunity for personal and professional growth. It has expanded my research network, deepened my knowledge of other cultures, and challenged me to think more critically about my work. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a transformative experience.
