As part of the tryING initiative, we welcomed young women from all over Germany who are considering studying engineering at TU Dresden. Over two days at CeTI, the participants experienced how tomorrow’s technologies are designed and why engineering plays such a crucial role in shaping the future.

The program included:

  • A hands-on workshop in robotics

  • A visit to a start-up and tour of acoustic laboratories

  • Inspiring talks with female researchers and a student role model

  • Live demonstrations on quantum communication, VR, haptics, and humanoid robotics

With this program, participants not only explored potential career paths but also discovered how diverse, creative, and impactful engineering can be.

We thank all participants for their curiosity and enthusiasm – and look forward to welcoming some of them back to TU Dresden in the future.
