The application process started in September 2020. Since July 2021, Dr.-Ing. Giang T.
Nguyen has been an Assistant Professor at TU Dresden, leading the Junior
Professorship of Haptic Communication Systems. His research focuses on
networked systems with low latency, flexibility, and resilience. The goal is to facilitate
machines to learn from human skills and vice versa. In addition to research, he
plans to actively participate in teaching to educate and inspire the next
generations. Last but not least, he also wants to communicate with a broader
audience about technology as a means to improve user experience and quality of
life.
