The TU Dresden would like to support students and schools with a focus on the MINT (STEM) area and has therefore been a member of the MINT-EC network for many years. As a school contact point, TU Dresden regularly offers (digital) events for students.

MINT-EC is the national excellence network of schools at the upper secondary level with a distinct profile in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. MINT-EC Camps are 4-day events/project weeks for about 20 students, during which they get to know the TU Dresden, the university location Dresden as well as study courses, research areas and job descriptions from the STEM sector. Our faculty has been given the opportunity to host this year’s camp and thus to present itself to motivated and well educated students as an attractive study option.

A part of this is project work in which own experimentation is in the foreground. Therefore, we are currently looking for institutes/professorships that are willing to offer project work (and supervision) of 8 hours, which can be worked on in small groups (max. 4 students from 16 years of age). In the end, the project results should be presented in the form of a poster or a ppt-presentation at our institute and later in the respective schools.

CeTI offers a project work for 3 groups à 2 pupils.
