Robot Valley on Tour: Together with the 6G-life research hub, we attended the Robotics Festival 2022 in Leipzig. After the successful premiere of last year’s Robotics Festival in Dresden, experts from the robotics industry met in Leipzig this year. This underlines Saxony’s decisive role in the field of artificial intelligence and automation. From 13-15 September, we presented our demonstrators at the AGRA Messepark in Leipzig and during various talks we gave an insight into the tactile internet.. Over 300 executives from globally active robotics manufacturers, start-ups and research institutes gathered for the festival in “Robot Valley Saxony” to network in leading robotics research and foster innovation in the industry.

Showcasing our tactile internet applications

CeTI brought various demonstrators from a wide range of disciplines to the festival: The gesture recognition “Hello Robot” convinces with innovations on the data glove: knitted-in sensors measure the stretching of the finger during movement. In addition, the TracePen demonstrator was shown, which was developed in cooperation with Wandelbots and demonstrates the programming of a robot arm without a single line of code. In addition, a control system for robotic drones that are to detect and close gas leaks was presented. Other demonstration material included a robotics application for future teleoperations and a robot arm that can be used to sort building blocks.
