The German Institute in Taipei (DIT) recently hosted an event to celebrate the Tag der Deutschen Einheit (Day of German Unity).

The event brought together diplomats, professionals and innovators to reflect on the importance of unity in today’s interconnected world.

CeTI researchers presented their pioneering work in Tactile Internet technology. This emerging field enables real-time human-computer interaction through ultra-fast, low-latency networks, opening up revolutionary possibilities in healthcare, education and beyond.

The meeting highlighted how innovation can foster deeper global collaboration, reflecting the central message of the event: unity and progress go hand in hand.
