We are delighted to have hosted Prof. Lorenzo Masia (https://www.lorenzomasia.com/) from the Aries Laboratory at the University of Heidelberg on October 17 at Impact Hub Dresden, who with his extraordinary expertise in assistive robotics and exosuits, gave an interesting talk on exoskeletons, a technology in great evolution.
Prof. Masia spoke about improving the comfort and power of this technology, as well as new ways of thinking about the design process. Exoskeleton robots, provide a level of support, strength and precision that has the potential to revolutionize daily life.
From assisting with strenuous manual tasks to increasing mobility, these robots offer people around the world the opportunity to interact with their surroundings more efficiently.
