A major success for the Cluster of Excellence CeTI: The paper authored by Lars Nockenberg, Evelyn Muschter, Kira Telegina, Atakan Topaloğlu, and Eckehard Steinbach was officially recognized with the prestigious Best Student Paper Award at this year’s EuroHaptics conference in Siena, Italy.
In their award-winning publication, “Towards a Vibrotactile Perceptual Model Accounting for Spatial Masking,” the research team addresses a central topic in tactile perception. The work marks a significant step forward in understanding human haptic perception—specifically in modeling and accounting for spatial masking effects in vibrotactile environments.
